Dear CEC Presenter,

Thank you so much for presenting at the CEC Conference held at Tan Tar A in March. I appreciate your help in making the conference a huge success. I have enclosed for you two items. The first is a compilation of your evaluations. Most all were very well rated. I have also enclosed for you a Call for Papers for the International CEC Convention to be held in Kansas City in April 2001. Because your presentation was so well evaluated, I encourage you to send in the Call for Papers to present at the Convention in Kansas City. It is very exciting and quite an accomplishment to present at an International Convention. With the Convention being so close to home, I am encouraging all Missouri presenters to apply. We want to be able to showcase our special educators and our wonderful programs to the approximately 6,000 people who will attend the Convention.

Please notice the deadline for submission is May 5, 2000. I realize the time is short but you should be able to utilize some of what you submitted for the state conference.

Again, I want to thank you for presenting for my conference. Without the caliber of presentations we were able to offer, we would not have been able to have such a successful CEC Conference. If you have any questions about the Call for Papers, please do not hesitate to call me.

As you may realize it takes many many people to coordinate and run a convention. If you present and are willing to volunteer eight hours, your conference registration fee is reduced by 25%! We welcome any and all willing volunteers! I look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely,

Linda Giger President, Missouri Federation CEC

Presentation Title: Relational Discipline for Kids at Risk

Excellent! Very timely. Well done. Excellent job, Dr. Bender! He's a terrific speaker and very funny! He really gave a lot of good ideas! Excellent presentation - information that can be applied. The speaker did a wonderful job! WOW! I enjoyed this session very much. He kept me interested - even at 8:00 p.m. at night! Dr. Bender's session was excellent. He gave great information that will benefit me in the future. The one thing that bothered me is he kept referring to the students at "kids". I think he should call them children instead, because it sounds more polite. Room was too small for the group size. Room was too small and presenter had to stand in front of his slides. Chairs were too close together, very uncomfortable. The room was too small.
