David Butler is the Principal of Sharp Creek Elementary School in Carrollton, Georgia. An able school administrator and a brain enthusiast, David has delivered keynotes and workshop sessions to audiences in a variety of educational settings. He shares from 27 years of experience as an educator, including high school teaching and both high school and elementary school administration.

Under David's leadership, Mt. Zion Elementary School in Carroll County, Georgia established a school-wide brain-based learning environment and received the prestigious Exemplary Reading Program Award from the International Reading Association. David has also successfuly opened a new elementary school where the brain-based instructional delivery model was replicated.

Examples of events where David Butler has been featured as a speaker include the 2001 Teacher's Workshop conference Brain-Based Learning in the Garden of Good and Evil (Savannah, Georgia), the Brain Expo 2000, the ASCD national conference in 1998, and the 1998 International Reading Association convention.
