KATRINA KIDS Special Session: Helping Kids Through Trauma

We believe that effective discipline is a tough job and a challenge to all teachers.  While the same discipline tactics may work for all groups, teachers need an array of positive behavioral supports for every elementary or secondary classroom.  Also, working with African-American kids requires additional cultural sensitivities.  This conference addresses these varied needs using leaders in the field.  Sessions are appropriate for any elementary or secondary teacher.
