Participants will: * explore and become familiar with CD, print and video resources * have supervised practice in presenting the Cooperative Discipline program * be certified to lead Cooperative Training in their district * learn to develop a management action plan for school-wide implementation * learn strategies for prevention & intervention for gangs and violence
Presenters: Linda Albert, Ph.D., author of the Cooperative Discipline approach; Pete DeSisto, M.Ed., Director of the Cooperative Discipline Training Foundation and contributing author of CD; Marilyn McGuire, M.S., contributing author of CD and author of video program Gangs & Violence: School-wide Strategies for Prevention and Intervention.
Registration fee is $465 (by May 15th). Fee includes book Cooperative Discipoine and the Cooperative Discipline Implementation Guide ($100 value)
