Since 1995, Carol Harris has been a certified consultant for Cognitive Enrichment Advantage, a model for elementary classrooms that helps students learn how to learn, and she has traveled internationally to provide CEA training to educators. She is also the Director of Elementary Student Achievement in Durango 9-R School Disrict in Durango, Colorado. Her 25 years as an educator have included positions as an elementary teacher, elementary school principal, director of elementary, visiting faculty at Ft. Lewis College in Durango, CO, and international consultant. Carol has earned degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Texas Tech University. She has a strong interest in the latest brain research and its implications for educators and has trained under Dr. Pat Wolfe.
