Dr. Debra Prigge

Dr. Debra Prigge is an author, public speaker, former classroom teacher, inservice instructor, and college professor. She draws from six years of public school teaching experience along with fourteen years of experience training prospective and practicing teachers at the college level.

Dr. Prigge received her doctorate in special education from the University of Washington and is currently the director of the new Center for Teaching and Learning at Central Washington University in Ellensburg.

Dr. Prigge has presented and consulted throughout the United States. She has conducted conference presentations, staff development and training, and workshops. Her evaluations suggest that she is very highly regarded as a presenter. Past evaluations have included comments such as: "This; is the best inservice I have ever attended." ... Dr. Prigge began her teaching career in an elementary resource room working with children with learning and behavioral disabilities. She has spent the majority of her public school experience at the secondary level, having taught both in junior high and high school special education programs.
