Dr. Judylynn Mitchell is the principal of West Salisbury Elementary School in Salisbury, Maryland. A veteran educator, author, and staff developer, Dr. Mitchell is a passionate expositor of the issues relating to cultural diversity and promoting success for all students. She is the author of numerous articles, resource kits, and other publications and is the co-author of the workbook Classical Africa. She has served as a reviewer for the Harcourt-Brace book series Science Anytime for K-6th grade, including the workbook Science Anytime: Contributions of African-American Scientists. She has presented dozens of workshops at national and state conferences and other functions around the U.S. Her presentations draw from her rich educational background, her experience in various theatrical productions, and personal life experiences.
