Using the world-wide resources of the internet for instructional
purposes is one of the most exciting innovations developed by teachers
to date. Ms. Shelia Perry, a classroom teacher, will
describe her use of the internet as a research tool in a high school
program, while the students describe their many and varied research
projects. Ms. Diane Burnside's West Virginia fifth
graders will talk about their excitement in developing cyber-pal
relationships through e-mail interaction.
Ms. Pat Tilson, a teacher in Georgia will present a "typical day" of a connected teacher as well as the instructional opportunities that may be developed.
